3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoon olive oil
salt to taste
1 teaspoon garlic pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 cup @HollandHouse_Flavors marsala cooking wine (#HollandHouse cooking wines are perfect for using in your slow cooker recipes)
1/2 cup chicken broth
3 cups sliced mushrooms
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup water
chopped parsley
Pasta of choice
Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and garlic pepper.
Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Place the chicken breasts, garlic, @HollandHouse_Flavors marsala cooking wine, chicken broth and mushrooms in the @CrockPot 7-quart Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker.
Set to low and allow to cook 3 hours or until chicken is fully cooked.
Remove the chicken from the @CrockPot 7-quart Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker and set aside.
Whisk together the cornstarch with the water. Then add into the slow cooker and stir until combined with broth mixture.
Add the chicken back into the @CrockPot 7-quart Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker. Set the heat to HIGH and cook for 30 minutes or until sauce has thickened. Meanwhile prepare pasta of choice according to directions.
Remove the chicken breast after 30 mins and place on serving platter with pasta.
Now stir in the heavy cream to the broth mixture. Garnish with parsley and serve. Enjoy!
